Better Sailing sessions, August 2019

Albert Sailing Club has scheduled a 2 week Better Sailing Programme for our club members who have completed a Learn to Sail or equivalent program and who want to further improve their sailing skills.

The course will briefly re-visit some of the skills covered in the Learn to Sail course and then cover better sailing topics : Sailing to windward ; and Sail setting for different points of sailing and different conditions.

When is it?

9.30am for  10.00 am to 12 noon  on saturdays August 17th and 24th.

Participants will need to sign up to attend both weeks.

Boats and instructor?

• Two handed club training boats (Zest and Pacer) and own or club single handed (sabre and Laser) training boats. Club boats allocated at start of each session.
• Don McKenzie (ASC training centre principal).

Participants?

This programme is targeting our adult club members, and we are accepting between 4 and 8 participants. There will be a reserve list once the limit of 8 is reached.

One person per registration. 

Fees for two session program:

• $30 which includes course instruction and boat hire. Payment arrangements to be advised close to date of first session.
