This link is for Registration and fee payment for lease by an ASC member of an Albert Sailing Club training boat (RS Zest, Pacer, Laser or plastic Ozi Opti).
The hire is only available for an adult or family, where skipper of boat is a club member and has dinghy sailing experience.
The lease will be for sailing at Albert Park Lake till end of April on one of the designated ASC Club days or sessions where boat hire is available, and an ASC Instructor (Don McKenzie or Rod Thomas or their specified alternate) approves use on the day based on boat availability and suitability to sail give the weather conditions.
* Saturday 6 January, Saturday 3 February, Saturday March date (TBA) : Informal Race and/or casual sailing session 9.30am - 1.30pm. and/or club racing period1.30 to 4.30pm.
* Twilight or Social Sailing sessions where promoted in Thursday Snippets and Facebook club training boats available for use.
* Extra sessions may be possible where agreed with Don or Rod.
The fee is $20 per half or full day session, with 3, 5 and 8 session options.
Registrants keep track of own use.
Online payment with registration strongly preferred.
Alternative is to compete form and make payment at club on the day of Hire.
By registering the ASC boat leasing Terms and Conditions apply. You accept responsibility for setting up and packing away of boat, and any damage to the club boat or another person or craft which is in excess of club boat insurance where it is assessed as reasonably avoidable.
