People who have some dinghy sailing experience or have completed or undertaking a Learn to Sail program at the Boatshedor elsewhere can apply for a temporary Albert Sailing Club (ASC) membership for saturday sailing days across February and March 2022. For ASC members and visitors each person 12 years+ needs to be double vaccinated and check in to enter clubrooms, with proof to be provided when attending ASC. February/March Temporary Membership Fee
* Family $100 - 2 adults, with up to 3 children same family. At least one adult with sailing experience or completed Learn to Sail course * Senior $60 - Adult with some sailing experience or completed Learn to Sai course * Junior $40 - junior under 18 years with some sailing experience and Tackers 2 course. If subsequently decide to join Albert Sailing Club the temporary membership fee can be deducted from the applicable annnual fee. See Join the Club tab on www.albertsc.org.au. The Registration includes : - access to club and facilities till end of March, - Personal Insurance through Australian Sailing scheme, - Weekly member email updates - 1 x 2 hour use of a club training boat 11am - 1pm, with type of boat and date dependant on availability. Further club boat use option dependant on availability.
Boat hire option for family and senior temporary February/March temporary membership.
3 x 2 hour sessions - $60 (Generally RSZest, possibly Pacer, Laser or Sabre depending on availability). Two hour sessions 11am - 1pm on three of : - 5th and 19th February, 5th, 19th and 26th March. Includes rigging, sailing and packup, with guidance from a club member. Specific dates dependant on Club Flag Officer approval on day given boat availability and weather conditions. All club boats have property insurance. Any damaged to boats during hire session needs to be reported to ASC Instructors, Don McKenzie or Rod Thomas. They will determine if repairs are needed and whether insurance excess to be paid by the hirer.
One Application per Registration. For multiple senior or junior entries (not family) register a principle member with guest option for additional registrants.
